99 Days until College football season begins!

As we all gear up to wait out the summer until football begins, lets not forget those that have seen hard times over the past few months across the state. Lets continue to help out as much as we can and come back stronger than ever. If you are out of work or looking for some part time work, I'd suggest you take a look at my buddy's website WorkersNow. He and his colleagues have built a LinkedIn / Facebook network for skilled workers. Basically, if you do carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, HVAC, auto repair or any other skilled labor, you should join their network. And if you are not a skilled laborer, please spread WorkersNow to your friends. (http://www.workersnow.com/)

SI cover, Article and Video

Sports Illustrated once again has Alabama on the cover of their magazine, but not for any of the reasons that we hope for as Crimson Tide fans. Although we are humbled at the national coverage of our mecca, Tuscaloosa, we are grateful the concern and goodwill that the rest of the nation has shown us. Follow this link to read the full article from Lars Anderson, a professor at the University of Alabama and a writer for SI.com. Watch a sobering video from SI about the Tornado aftermath below. RTR
