Back to Back Undefeated Regular Seasons

As we head into the Third Saturday of October match-up with Tennessee, much of the press is discussing the possibility of a collision between an Undefeated Alabama  VS an Undefeated Florida. ESPN's Chris Low mentions that the SEC has never produced two undefeated teams in a regular season, and the last time the SEC had a undefeated National Champion was a 1998 Tennessee team. Both teams are chasing history for the conference. Interesting, huh?

It also makes me appreciate the difference a great coach makes. With all the press and coverage swarming the Tide, it could be very distracting. Thats why all these records, interesting tidbits, campaigns for Heisman, and etc are really for the fans. Yeah, of course Mark Ingram wouldn't mind having the Heisman, but he would hands down rather play for a National Championship. We should all thank Nick Saban for managing the distractions that swarm the team.  With all that has happened this season, he has been worth every penny.

And who among us does not want to play an undefeated Florida in the SEC Championship game? I can't wait to rip that away from them. I can't wait to make Timmy Tebow go out without his goal of a undefeated season. RTR.
