Terrence Cody and Leigh Tiffin received weekly honors from the SEC front office this week for their performance against the Volunteers. Cody was named the SEC defensive lineman of the week and Tiffin was named SEC Special teams player of the week.
In one of his smartest moves in the past week, Kiffin has chosen not to comment on the reprimand that he received from the SEC. "I'm not gonna get into it. I'm excited about this match up versus South Carolina. As hard as it is for me to do, I'm not gonna do that. I'd love to," said Kiffin when asked about his second reprimand as Volunteers coach. Really Kiffin? Did you read the NCAA rule book? I think he knows that he was wrong and talking further about "the block" would be useless.
