Mal Moore makes the Vols surrender before Game-Day

Lane Kiffin agrees with the AP poll and believes that Alabama should be No. 1 over Florida. He's quick to point out the Tide's 35-7 victory over the Razorbacks and the fact that the Gators barely slipped by with a 23-20 performance. Ummm, thanks Kiffin?

Innocence Lost: Remember when a viable costume for Halloween was Phil Fulmer? Now it just doesn't seem relevant anymore.

We've been following the whole Orange jersey request by Tennessee, and Mal Moore made this comment in the Mobile Press Register: "it is our desire to maintain the custom of the visiting team wearing their visiting jerseys. We'll continue to wear our white jerseys when we visit Knoxville next year." I think we're just screwing with their psyche and we want them in the mindset of capitulating before the toe meets the leather on Saturday.

Pat Forde on ESPN.com gives respect to the Crimson Tide Offensive line. When talking about replacing a void from last year he writes, "The Crimson Tide lost three starters, two of them All-Americans, from the 2008 road-grading crew that made Glen Coffee and John Parker Wilson look good. Now the rebuilt line is making Mark Ingram and Greg McElroy look better."

Here's a link to a fan page on facebook that is promoting Mark Ingram for Heisman. We're not affiliated with the page, but it's a worthy cause.
