Julio Jones' Record Breaking Performance
Julio Jones had 12 receptions for an University of Alabama-record 221 yards against Tennessee. This was the game that it seemed like everyone was waiting for, and it came less than two weeks after Jones had surgery on a fractured left hand. His record breaking performance did not include a touchdown but 9 of his receptions were for first down and he had 47 yards after the catch and 18.4 yards per reception. Below we have posted one of his more superman-like catches, but you can watch a compilation of his record setting game on the University's official website.

Eric Martin hit on Andrew Hudson
Remember that Mississippi State linebacker Chris Hughes was suspended for one game after the SEC discovered the freshman hit a UAB player Saturday in the head? Well, watch this hit from the Nebraska player, Eric Martin on Oklahoma St player on Andrew Hudson. At the 1:40 mark, you can see the hit that gave suspended Martin for one game. What do you think? Just football? or Unnecessary?

Since it's a bye week for the Crimson Tide, we can dwell on their past performance. My top pick is the play where Milliner levels Moore of Tennessee. Boom goes the dynamite!
