Trent Richardson's status for Alabama's home game this weekend is still questionable. "Trent did some running today. He did some work today," Alabama coach Nick Saban said Wednesday of the sophomore, who injured a knee Saturday in a 24-21 loss at LSU. "If he's not better (Thursday), I don't know that he'll be ready to play in a game. We'll just have to wait and see on that one."
Mark Ingram said if the Heisman voting took place today, he would vote for Cam Newton.
"I know they're undefeated and Cam Newton is playing better football than most everybody in the country right now," Ingram said. When asked if the allegations surrounding Newton would affect his decision, the former Heisman winner replied, "As a Heisman voter, I'm not paying any attention to that right now," Ingram said. "At the end of the season, I'll see who played the best football and come up with the best player in the entire country."
